An important note that organizations that would like to have a booth at the fair need to RSVP ahead of time but individuals looking for an opportunity will not. Anyone who is looking to become more involved in the community or looking for an opportunity to learn new skills is encouraged to attend. This volunteer fair will be an excellent opportunity to make connections with local organizations looking for volunteers. To further enhance the fair, the Library is partnering with CASA to offer a raffle for attendees.
Volunteering within the community has many benefits such as meeting new people, learning new skills and improving your resume, all while helping others. The Volunteer Fair will be on Saturday, July 29th, from 1:00-4:00pm at the Pony Village Mall in the North Bend. The Coos Bay Library’s first volunteer fair was such a successful event that we are going to do an even bigger better one! We are excited to invite you to participate in the next fair, hosted by the Coos Bay Public Library but held offsite.
